Span Gauge Tolerance: Actual track gauge vs nominal span $S$ deviation must be within $\pm$3.0 mm.
Rail Top Leveling: Longitudinal gradient must not exceed 1/1000; transverse cross-elevation difference between left and right rails must be $\le$ 5.0 mm.
Expansion Gaps: Leave 15–20 mm gaps at rail joints with fishplates or thermite-weld flush.
